Sparrowhawk Lodge is a three-storey visitors’ accommodation development in Dead Man’s Flat, within the Municipal District of Bighorn No.8. The development is in a desirable area due to the proximity to HWY 1 (Trans-Canada Highway), the Rocky Mountains and other major tourist regions. In supporting the municipal district’s goals of local economic growth and diversification, the intention of Sparrowhawk Lodge is to create opportunities for tourism and recreation and enhance amenities for the local community and visitors. There are commercial retail units on the ground floor and 107 residential condo units on the upper floors. Each unit offers guests scenic views of Pigeon Mountain and Grotto Canyon from inside their unit suites and outside on the balconies.
A variety of indoor and outdoor amenities are included in this development, establishing Sparrowhawk Lodge as a vacation destination. A designated fitness area with iconic views of the Rocky Mountains and open green spaces are provided for residents, including a fitness studio, a large outdoor pool and a hot tub area. There is a central courtyard that serves as a common entertainment area, with two fire pits, site furnishings and attractive landscaping to host visitor gatherings.
