ROXBORO LIFT STATION
In collaboration with Associated Engineering. The concept for the new Roxboro Lift station is to provide a building that subtly encloses a vital piece of Urban Infrastructure. Our goal was to create a building that is durable, functional, flood resistant and aesthetically pleasing to the community and park visitors. The design intent is to create a form that is simple, yet intriguing, and use materials that are durable, contextual and thoughtful to the surrounding neighbourhood. The main structure is modest, comprised of a few minor shifts and angles, while the entrance face works to integrate access and Lift Station mechanical and functional needs.
