MTA Urban Design Architecture Interior Design Inc., is an integrated design firm that offers Architectural, Interior Design, Building Envelope, and Urban Design services. MTA approaches each project as a partnership and a relationship with our client and with our community. Thoughtful, creative design can solve complex challenges while respecting budgets and deadlines. Inspired thinking can advance the evolution of design and shape how we see the city and our surroundings. MTA is accomplished in a range of project sectors with a principle focus on Residential (Market and Non- Market Housing), Hospitality, Senior Living, and working with not-for-profit organizations. We have a proven track record working in urban, rural, and unique settings, whether it be the Provincial and National Parks, Indigenous Lands or Urban Districts in cities across the prairies. We also proudly maintain successful partnerships with selected national and international architectural practices to deliver award-winning, world-class projects.
Together, we promote an inclusive and integrated approach to design thinking, incorporating physiological and psychological health and safety and proven sustainable practices in a human-centered foundation of design. We strongly believe it is our responsibility as design professionals to create a more inclusive and accessible society for everyone. We want to empower you to create a physical space and place that can be your tool to continue to advance your valuable work within the community.
Building upon our Core Values and a commitment to resiliency, MTA is proud to announce that our firm has recently been recognized by International Living Future Institute as a Just 2.0 Organization. Our collective success in creating a world that is socially just, culturally rich and ecologically restorative results from establishing mutual trust between us, our clients and the communities we serve.
As a Just 2.0 Organization, MTA has established a framework and corresponding metrics to guide our operating policies as an investment in, and promotion of, our diverse and inclusive culture and work environment. We aspire to continually improve our everyday operations, management and project work to foster communities we can be proud of and want to be a part of.
