Marshall Tittemore Architects’ Project wins three SAM Awards

Marshall Tittemore Architects’ Timberline Lodges floorplan designs picked up three awards for Multi-Family Design at the annual Calgary Region Homebuilders Association SAM Awards!

Designing for Alpine Homes, MTA’s winning floorplans are:

Best New Design – 800 to 1,199 sq. ft.

Nestled among the mountain landscape in the Three Sisters Mountain Village, The Timberline Lodges is a multi-family resort community which blends apartment condos, three and four storey townhomes, for a total of 87 units. The apartment condos range from 1,000 to 3,200 sq ft. and the townhomes offer residents 2,500 to 3,000 sq. ft. of living space- some of which have private, in-home elevators. Each floor plan was designed with an open concept- allowing the kitchen to flow into dining and greatroom areas. Many plans also offer suited bedrooms throughout. The units also maximize outdoor-living space with private patios, allowing residents to appreciate the extraordinary mountain views.

The Timberline Lodges were designed to meet Alpine Homes’ green building standards for the area of Canmore. Recycled tire material mimics slate for the roofing. Exterior finishes include cedar siding and trim, a stone base and fir timber detailing. Extensive alpine landscaping will include a stepped water feature constructed of natural stone.

A separate two-storey clubhouse for residents and their guests features a lounge and theatre area, pool, indoor/outdoor hot tubs and a fitness facility.
