Marshall Tittemore Architects (MTA) has exceptional credentials to meet all of your objectives. MTA currently employs a staff of fifty full-time architects, licensed interior designers, intern/graduate architects, technologists, contract administrators, IT / marketing support and office administrators located in our Calgary and Edmonton offices.
Diversified Skill Set
The people of MTA bring a diverse set of skills to our clients.
Each individual is an expert in his/her field; however, we encourage
staff members to expand their knowledge to other areas within the
practice. This commitment to enhancing skills results in an extremely
low attrition rate, an added benefit to our clients.
Environmental Awareness
Marshall Tittemore Architects is committed to integrating sustainable design principles into all of our projects. Many of our staff members currently have Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification. This requirement is of particular importance to MTA, as many of our projects are located in environmentally sensitive regions and urban areas in proximity to Calgary encountering significant population growth. In fact, MTA has the honour of producing Alberta’s first LEED Silver Certified facility, the new Canmore Civic Centre (2003).
Practice Management
Our current organizational structure is a unique outcome of our recent and rapid growth that has attracted many highly-credentialed professionals. Bill Marshall and Tom Tittemore work closely with the firm’s Directors: Robert Schindelka (Production), Doreen Logan (Operations), Scott Lambert (Design), Henry Schlichter (Management) and Gordon Franklin (Edmonton Operations). MTA’s Directors, team leaders and project managers are responsible for day-to-day management of all projects and personnel and are the primary contacts for clients and consultants. They ensure that work carried out by MTA meets our exacting design standards, timelines and budgets.
Global Diversity-Our People, Our Projects
Our globally diversified staff has first-hand experience to help provide better insight into different project types and construction methods from many parts of the world. Languages spoken within our office include English, French, Spanish, Mandarin, Arabic, Japanese, Polish and Italian. Written languages include the above, as well as Russian and Czech.
MTA has completed successful projects in the following countries and regions: Canada, Eastern Europe, United States and the Caribbean.
MTA is registered to practice architecture in Alberta, British Columbia and Ontario. We have a total of nine registered architects in our firm.
